Say Hello?

So as I posted earlier today, we dyed our slipcover on our Ikea couch. We chose gunmetal gray dye for a light gray color to match our blue, white and yellow scheme.

We followed the directions (so we thought ) and this is what we ended up with.

As we navigate through DIY, we never really know if we will succeed or fail miserably. Like this. In my opinion, my couch looks like 80's Acid washed Blue Jeans. I want to cry. 

I guess the next step is to find a way to pull out the horrible blue color and find a better gray.
